Hello! I am Linda F. Giles. I am a born and raised Greenvillian. I have a son, Donovan James Washington, who is 12 years old and attends Coleman Middle School. In my spare time, I enjoy watching movies on the Hallmark Channel. I received my diploma from Greenville High School in 1988, and I went on to pursue my college degree from Jackson State University were I obtained my Bachelor’s Degree in Social Science. After college, I worked at Wal-Mart. During this time, I soon obtained an assistant teacher’s position at Trigg Elementary School. I worked in that position until 2013, when I received an Expert Citizen License where I taught 1st grade and Kindergarten. I ventured off from the educational world, but soon returned to my passion. In 2019, I taught in the Elementary Overage Program. I currently teach Social Studies in the Middle School Overage Program.
